More Good Yoga making More Good People.

My program values leaving things better than they were found. Doing good over harm. I’ve created More Good Yoga to encourage you to make space for the compassionate, capable, and self-aware parts of yourself. Within that safe space, we honor our bodies through the practice of breathwork, mindful thought, and earth-centered flows that bring us back to ourselves and more intentional living.

Starting something new can be daunting when we feel alone. Here at More Good Yoga, we are a community to hold onto. We are a team of support and guidance that allows you to learn at a pace that feels good to you. We work to cultivate sensations of freedom and safety in the body so that you can create space for the things you’d like to invite in. We not only support you in your Asana practice, but remind you of your power. We stand beside you as you discover all that you're capable of. We strive to allow your body and mind to align with each other to ease the stresses and anxieties of life.

More Good Yoga offers a wide variety of classes for every body, at every level. Whether you are looking for a gentle restorative class to reset your system, start as a beginner and work your way up, or want to come in as an intermediate to advanced student, we have the perfect place for you. Join us in integrating our teachings into your life and creating a beautiful community that you can call home. Because More Good Yoga makes more good people.

Our main priority is making sure we can provide our services to the entirety of our community. With this in mind we have created special programs in place to accommodate those who have been hit the hardest by the current economic crisis. These programs cover those who can no longer afford their memberships. We are so fortunate to have such a giving community and appreciate ANY amount that you are able to give.

When you go out into the woods, and you look at trees, you see all these different trees. And some of them are bent, and some of them are straight, and some of them are evergreens, and some of them are whatever. And you look at the tree and you allow it. You see why it is the way it is. You sort of understand that it didn’t get enough light, and so it turned that way. And you don’t get all emotional about it. You just allow it. You appreciate the tree.

The minute you get near humans, you lose all that. And you are constantly saying ‘You are too this, or I’m too this.’ That judgment mind comes in. And so I practice turning people into trees. Which means appreciating them just the way they are.
